It's all here: the realness of her writing, the love she shares with Christ, and her amazing way to make you feel like she's drawn you into a three-way conversation with her and her Lord. I didn’t expect to do that. I expected the book to be interesting and informative because I’ve read some of the author’s other non-fiction books. But I didn’t expect it to move me emotionally like it did. More than at any other time in my life, I yearn to be completely obedient to Christ, and yet sometimes I find it so difficult to let go of my own will. The Way of Restoration truly does light the path for those who “hunger and thirst for righteousness” and are consumed with the “desire to live out the truth.” ( Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2021 )

Not only are they pithy but challenging, encouraging, enlightening, and above all, inspiring to a deeper walk with the LORD. You do not have to read far before you realize her time with the LORD has been a life long journey. This is not a tome the book of Matthew but a personal testimony of her experience with the LORD as she walked through the life and times of the characters in the book with Jesus, of course, being the main person of interest. Drawing deep from the wells of biblical insight she refreshes your spirit with insight which will bless you far beyond the Milquetoast surface anecdotal "quickie" devotional. That is not meant to be a mean criticism but a warning to those who would love to breeze through this work like a rainy day easy read. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2021 )

I had some questions that were almost immediately answered and my soul soared with love and happiness to read the information I needed to know about righteousness. The teachings on the Beatitudes are clear, concise and second to none. I have never read them through with such interest and clarity before Rachael explained them. I have read some of her other books and I look forward to being one of her fans for many years to come. Her books do not disappoint. There is something inside for everyone. One last enjoyable note about Rachel's writing, it is grammatically correct and the spelling is correct. That is so important in todays literature but so easily overlooked. Thank you Rachael. She ties all the Beatitudes up in a neat bundle of God's purpose for humanity. Thus revealed is His astounding love for the people He created by making the way to bring them back into relationship with Him. Especially insightful is her breakdown of the Lord's Prayer and the practical application of it to our personal lives. Not a walk in the park, but definitely food for the journey!
